Perfect for a limited company director

The Corporation Tax and Self Assessment forecasting takes the fear out of the whole thing. I always know roughly what is coming.

MTD for VAT just works. I press submit and it goes to HMRC without any faff.

Cons

A few of the reports are quite basic compared with the bigger packages.

Outgrew it too fast

We sell physical products and the complete lack of inventory made it unworkable for us.

I am not an accountant and it still made sense to me within a week. The tax timeline is the feature I did not know I needed.

The tax forecast is a lifesaver

As a limited company director I used to dread the VAT return. FreeAgent files straight to HMRC and tells me what I owe well ahead of time.

Self Assessment sorted in an afternoon

I contract through my own company and it handles dividends, expenses and Self Assessment without me needing an accountant.
