Everything a freelancer needs

I got it free through my NatWest business account and it does far more than I expected for nothing.

Ideal for contractors

As a limited company director I used to dread the VAT return. FreeAgent files straight to HMRC and tells me what I owe well ahead of time.

Made me confident with my own books

The Corporation Tax and Self Assessment forecasting takes the fear out of the whole thing. I always know roughly what is coming.

No more dreading VAT quarter

I contract through my own company and it handles dividends, expenses and Self Assessment without me needing an accountant.

Cons

Stock and inventory is basically not there, so it does not suit a product business.

Free with my bank and brilliant

Invoicing, bank feeds and VAT all sit in one tidy place. My accountant just logs in at year end and it is done.
