Stock control worth the subscription alone

Foreign currency sales on the Professional plan handle our export side including the revaluations, which our old package made a monthly ordeal.

Everything ties back to the ledger

Moved from a cloud product back to Sage 50 because stock and order processing on the cloud side were toys by comparison. The difference in capability is not subtle.

The workhorse earns its keep

Support have been decent whenever we called, the product is stable, and MTD has been faultless. The renewal negotiation is now an annual fixture though.

Rock solid through every year end

The onboarding call they include was worth having even after years of experience, the adviser tidied settings we had lived with wrongly for ages.

Depth the cloud products still lack

Year end used to be a fortnight of stress. With the reports set up properly and a tidy audit trail it is now three days including the accountant queries.

It just works, every single day, and after some of the software this office has suffered that is the highest compliment available.

Leaving after many years, with regret

After more than a decade we are migrating away. The decision came down to cost against a product that stopped moving forward, and a support experience that made a billing error take three months to resolve.

The workhorse earns its keep

The functionality is genuinely strong, stock, orders, reporting, all of it. The experience of using it is where the age shows, dense screens and a real learning curve.
