The HR advisor earned its keep

Good payroll let down by a poor support experience

The payroll itself works well and the automated taxes are a relief, but when I had a genuinely tricky multi state situation with a crew working across the line, getting proper help was frustrating and took far too long to resolve.

Automated taxes and filing work well for standard situations. Integrates cleanly with my books. Direct deposit is reliable. Easy to run week to week.

Cons

Support struggled badly with my multi state question and it took weeks. Per employee cost adds up for a seasonal crew. The best features are on higher tiers.

Peace of mind on the taxes

We pay a mix of employees and contractors and having both handled here, with the year end forms generated automatically, has been a genuine simplification and I stopped dreading January.

Great integration, watch the cost

It handles our larger team and multi state filing well. The per head cost at our size is real money, and the features we want sit on the top tier, but the reliability justifies it.
