Good idea, frustrating experience

The tax estimate and simplicity are genuinely good, but reliability let me down, and for the days my bank feed was broken I was back to manual entry, which defeated the purpose.

Four stars from a freelancer

Right idea, a few rough edges

The product itself is simple and fine, but I hit a snag with my bank feed and sorting it out was more frustrating than it should have been, which soured a good first impression.

Sensible software for a small income

A good, sensible tool for a small self employed income. It never makes me feel out of my depth, which fuller products always did, and that is exactly why I stuck with it.

Better than the spreadsheet I had

Does the basics really well and got me set up for MTD. Support was slow once, and the reporting is light, but for a sole trader those are minor notes against a genuinely useful product.

Affordable and genuinely easy

Photographing receipts as I go means no more last minute panic with a carrier bag, and splitting business from personal on my one bank account has been a genuine lifesaver.

Splitting business and personal is brilliant

The running tax estimate is the feature I did not know I needed. Splitting business from personal on a shared bank account is brilliant. Simple enough that I actually keep on top of it rather than avoiding it.

Cons

It does not handle stock, so I track my materials separately. For a maker that would be a nice addition, though I understand it is meant to be simple.
